About the Artist
Jenny Tibbits (she/they/agma) {Newichawannock/Pennacook/Abenaki & Turtle Mountain Ojibwe} is a tribal elder and medicine carrier, long-tenured independent scholar, and Indigenous rights advocate. She is a passionate storyteller sharing local Indigenous and Black histories. Jenny is a certified herbalist working with medicinal plants for thirty years. She is also a multi-displinary artist including flame work glass and photography. She is a graphic designer, video editor, fashion designer, and musician (both voice and composition). Jenny lives in Squamanagonic N'Dakinna, now Rochester, New Hampshire and enjoys kayaking, hiking, and horseback riding.
